executive team

Paul Gallagher
Chief Executive Officer

Chris Gallagher was born in Queensland, Australia and still owns a property in Byron Bay, a beachside town north of Sydney on the Eastern-most point of the Australian coastline. He moved to Marin County, California in 2008 and has since relocated to Boca Raton, Florida in 2011.

Gallagher has gained more than 25 years of experience in Footwear Retail and Wholesale since beginning his career as a trainee manager of Williams shoe stores in Australia. He grew through the ranks so quickly that by the age of 30, he became the General Manager of the company he began working with at 17. Around the same time, the company went public on the Australian stock exchange and Gallagher was part of the leadership team that grew the share price from $1 to $6.40 at the time of his departure four years later.

After joining Vasyli - now called Vionic Group - in 2004, he hasn't looked back. Gallagher is very passionate about footwear and loves reading the life-changing reviews that consumers write about Orthaheel Technology. "I am very passionate about our culture at Vionic and love seeing our team develop, growing into higher roles and positions that maybe they never thought would be possible."

Chris loves the ocean and walking along the beach, feeling the earth on his feet. He also likes to go boating and his favorite restaurant by far is Picco at Larkspur in Marin County north of San Francisco. "Great organic food straight from local farms to the table."

Bruce Campbell
Chief Operating Officer

Born in Sydney, Australia, Bruce Campbell has also lived in London, Bahamas, Florida and Illinois, and now resides in California. Bruce has been instrumental to the company’s successful global expansion. He has worked with the Vasyli family and Orthaheel Technology for nearly 20 years, serving in a variety of roles that gave him insights to all aspects of the business, ranging from the clinical applications to the back-end research, development, testing, manufacturing and delivery of products.

For 10 years Bruce traveled and lived internationally as he established Vasyli global distribution networks and drove business development. He assisted with the development and launch of the Vasyli Medical line to health care providers and the Orthaheel brand to pharmacies and specialty retailers. Recognizing the importance of education to the company’s success and mission, he helped pioneer the Vasyli educational programs. In 2003 Bruce returned to Australia to restructure the business for growth and expansion, which led to the recruiting of a world-class management team, strengthening the company’s sales, marketing and distribution efforts, and securing a global supply chain. Bruce opened the U.S. office in 2005 and as Chief Operations Officer he now oversees the company’s finance and operations areas.

Prior to joining Vasyli, Bruce held sales and marketing positions in the mining and consumer goods industries. He earned Diplomas in Finance, Sales and Marketing from the Australian Institute of Management.

Bruce currently lives with his wife and son in Marin County, California. He loves being active outdoors, is passionate about locally sourced food and wine, and loves living in the Bay Area.
